Member Privileges Program: Vendor Participation Guidelines
The New York State Chiropractic Association’s Member Privileges Program connects our members with trusted vendors offering products and services relevant to chiropractic practice and business operations. Participation in this program is selective and designed to protect the integrity of the Association while delivering meaningful value to our membership.
We welcome inquiries from organizations whose offerings align with the professional, ethical, and operational needs of chiropractors licensed and practicing in New York State.
Why Partner With NYSCA
NYSCA represents one of the largest and most engaged chiropractic memberships in the state. Our members look to the Association as a trusted source for education, advocacy, and vetted professional resources.
By participating in the Member Privileges Program, vendors gain:
- Access to a highly targeted professional audience
- Visibility within a respected, mission-driven association
- Association affiliation that signals credibility and trust
- Long-term relationship-building opportunities within the chiropractic community
The program is designed to support sustainable partnerships focused on quality, transparency, and mutual benefit.
Program Overview
Member privileges are structured as a value-added benefit for our members and a visibility opportunity for participating vendors. Participation typically includes:
- A listing on the Member Privileges section of the NYSCA website
- Inclusion in periodic communications highlighting available member privileges
- Occasional mention in association newsletters or member updates
The program is intentionally passive in nature. NYSCA’s role is to provide access and visibility. We do not actively market individual vendor offers, manage lead generation, or conduct sales outreach on behalf of participating vendors.
Many partners find that the strongest return on investment comes from combining participation in the Member Privileges Program with additional association marketing opportunities, including:
Vetting and Approval Process
All prospective Member Privileges partners are reviewed as part of NYSCA’s standard sponsor and exhibitor vetting process to ensure alignment with our mission, ethical standards, and member interests.
As part of the review by our Ethics Committee, interested vendors are asked to provide:
- A brief overview of your business model, including how NYSCA members would engage with your company
- A generic sample of any contracts or agreements you may ask members to sign
- Three business references, preferably from chiropractors licensed and practicing in New York State who have worked with your organization
Approval is based on relevance to our membership, clarity of offerings, ethical business practices, and overall fit with the Association.
Marketing Expectations and Best Practices
The Member Privileges Program provides exposure, not active promotion. Vendors should understand the following:
- Promotion is limited to standard Association communications and website placement
- NYSCA does not conduct individualized campaigns for specific vendors
- NYSCA does not provide sales support, lead qualification, or ongoing marketing management
Successful partners typically:
- Maintain their own marketing and outreach efforts
- Participate in Association advertising, sponsorship, or exhibiting opportunities
- Provide clear, transparent offers that members can easily evaluate and access
Revenue and Partnership Structure
The NYSCA does not generally participate in profit-sharing, commission-based, or revenue-dependent marketing arrangements within the Member Privileges Program.
The Association does not assume a marketing or sales role in anticipation of future financial returns. Our staffing and resources are dedicated to serving our membership and advancing the profession.
Participation is structured as a relationship-based visibility opportunity rather than a performance-based marketing partnership.
Policies and Standards
Member Privileges partners are expected to conduct business in a manner consistent with NYSCA’s standards for sponsors and exhibitors. In general, participating vendors are expected to comply with the Association’s existing policies, including:
These policies outline expectations related to professionalism, ethical conduct, communications, and member engagement and serve as the guiding framework for all vendor relationships with NYSCA.
Is This Program Right for You?
The Member Privileges Program is best suited for organizations that view association partnerships as a long-term relationship rather than a short-term sales channel. This program may be a good fit if your organization:
- Offers products or services that are directly relevant to chiropractic practice or business operations
- Values ethical business practices and transparent member relationships
- Is comfortable with a visibility-based partnership model rather than active promotion
- Has the internal capacity to manage its own marketing, sales, and member engagement
- Is interested in building credibility and long-term relationships within the chiropractic community
This program may not be the right fit if your organization:
- Is seeking guaranteed lead volume or sales performance
- Requires active marketing, lead generation, or sales support from the Association
- Is primarily interested in commission-based or profit-sharing arrangements
- Is not prepared to operate within NYSCA’s professional and ethical standards
We encourage prospective partners to review these guidelines carefully before applying to ensure alignment with program expectations and partnership structure.
