A Connection Between Jaw Pain and Postural Syndromes

Presented by: Jennifer Illes, BSc, DC, DAp, MS
Sponsored by: Foot Levelers
Wednesday, June 29, 2022 | 1:30pm-2:30pm (1CE)

The jaw and postural connection exists! Let’s say that after years of braces teeth your patient’s teeth are perfectly aligned. Their history reveals they do not grind or clench their teeth at night. They also do not bite fingernails, chew on pen caps, or engage in any other bad oral habits. So why, after ruling out these common causes of TMJ disorder, do your patients still wake up every morning with an achy jaw, headaches, and neck pain? You may want to take a look at your posture, a very real contributor to TMJ disorder. Come engage in some evidence based learning with Dr. Jennifer Illes.
