On November 1, 2024, the Board issued a reminder that it will require health care providers to contract with an electronic submission partner to submit the CMS-1500 universal medical billing form electronically on their behalf beginning August 1, 2025.
The Board is pleased to offer provider webinars to ensure you are prepared for this transition, if you are not already using an electronic submission partner (also known as an XML submission partner).
Each one-hour session will cover:
- A brief overview of CMS-1500
- The significant benefits of electronic submission
- Currently available submission partners
- The submission process
