NY Chiropractic Offices Must Continue to Follow COVID Protocols
NY lifts most COVID restrictions effective 6/15/21; Healthcare settings, including chiropractic offices, must continue to follow previous, in place COVID protocols
As you are already aware, the CDC federal mask mandate remains in effect for pre-K-12 schools, public transit, and healthcare settings in NYS.
On Tuesday, June 15, Governor Cuomo announced that New York has hit a 70% adult vaccination rate and that most COVID restricts were to be lifted immediately.
In response to inquires from our members, the NYSCA has reached out to local and regional healthcare agencies for further clarifications about guidelines that healthcare facilities must follow in their daily practice. We have been informed that all healthcare facilities must continue to follow previous protocols, which include mask mandates for both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals, social distancing, health screenings, temperature checks, and disinfecting protocols.
Continued use of face masks and other COVID protocols is still required by New York State in your chiropractic practice.
