Your Membership Dollars At Work

As a member of the New York State Chiropractic Association, you are granted complimentary membership with the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP) through enrollment in F4CP Group Membership. 

The F4CP is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to raising public awareness about the value of chiropractic care through positive press. As an F4CP member, you are entitled to take advantage of its wonderful membership benefits, including:

In addition, you receive a basic listing in the F4CP’s National Find-A-Doctor Directory, f4cp.org/findadoctor, as well as complimentary listings in the American Academy of Spine Physicians, WebMD and Vitals.com Doctor Directories.

But, that’s not all. Our enrollment in the F4CP’s Group Membership program and ongoing support has helped the F4CP foster new relationships in and out of the chiropractic industry, create and implement new and ongoing marketing campaigns and so much more. The F4CP is continuously working toward progress for the profession, just find out how below.

Ambassador Program

The F4CP has launched an Ambassador Program, which entails an Ambassador, or group of Ambassadors, from each Group Member State Association to serve as feet on the ground promoting the value of chiropractic care in local communities.

State Ambassadors spearhead the F4CP’s marketing campaigns to further promote the value of chiropractic care at the grassroots level. The F4CP provides the Ambassadors with patient education and community outreach materials to market chiropractic effectively throughout their State. As a special thank you, all Ambassadors receive a complimentary Gold Membership with the F4CP for their active engagement.

LinkedIn Articulators

To help its members reach new audiences, the F4CP has rolled out a brand-new membership benefit, “LinkedIn Articulators.” The Articulators are very similar to the Foundation’s Social Media Accelerators™ in the fact that they both provide easy-to-share, click-to-post social media content that is delivered directly to members’ inboxes. The difference between the two is that the Articulators cater to the professional, business-to-business audience vs. the consumer-friendly content in the Accelerators. 

Collaborative Opportunities

Last year, the F4CP submitted a statement to the National Academy of Medicine to enroll as an organization in support of their Opioid Collaborative. The Foundation then sent statements to other organizations who also enrolled in the Action Collaborative to see how we could work to move the needle forward for nonpharmacological care. 

In response, the Foundation began establishing relationships with organizations in many different professions, including but not limited to yoga therapists, nurse practitioners and more.  

The Foundation worked with the International Association of Yoga Therapists to create and place an ad in Yoga Therapy Today, featuring the F4CP’s National Find-A-Doctor Directory, which includes your contact information as a Group Member. 

In addition, the F4CP’s Executive Vice President Dr. Sherry McAllister was invited to record a chiropractic presentation at Johns Hopkins University – School of Nursing, which is now being presented in the curriculum to Nurse Practitioners. In addition, the F4CP is placing a series of ads in the Journal for Nurse Practitioners, with the call-to-action showcasing Dr. McAllister’s presentation on the ad. Johns Hopkins also built her presentation into their core curriculum. 

Olympic Commercial

In September 2019, the Foundation team flew to Los Angeles, CA for a 14-hour day of filming of the :30 second TV commercial that is set to air FIVE TIMES during the 2020 Summer Olympics. The talent, Dr. Erica Witter-Davis is a past Olympic athlete, who then went on to become a doctor of chiropractic herself. 

The call-to-action included in the commercial will be for viewers to visit BeyondThePain.org. The goal of the website is to direct consumers to learn more about chiropractic care, to find a local doctor of chiropractic in the F4CP Directory and/or to learn how to become one. 

As a member of the Foundation, you will receive access to the commercial file and be able to share the file on your practice website and social media pages in the near future. 

Optimizing Performance Campaign 

The F4CP recently unveiled its newest campaign, Optimizing Performance with Chiropractic Care

According to the results of a Harris Poll survey commissioned by the F4CP, more than eight in 10 consumers (81%) believe chiropractic care is effective for professional and amateur athletes. 

Speaking to the results of the survey, this new campaign will feature a number of professional athletes communicating their own positive experiences with chiropractic care in a series of poster, social media clips and personal statements. 

Through July 2020, the F4CP will showcase one professional athlete’s story per month to help build momentum leading up until the airing of its brand-new :30 second chiropractic TV commercial, set to air five times on NBC during the 2020 Summer Olympics in July. 

These new resources are available to F4CP members to utilize in their practices and local communities to educate their patients about the value of chiropractic care for professional and amateur athletes. 

The first marketing resource of the campaign, an advertisement, features the Olympic commercial talent, Dr. Erica Witter-Davis, and was published in USA Today as a full-page, color advertisement. To download the full page, color ad, please click here
