This course will cover: Documentation and management of exacerbations of work related spine injuries. Applying the Medical Treatment Guidelines. Understanding the patient’s functional limitations as it relates to their daily work requirements. Communication minimum information necessary such as: i. mechanism and date of injury; ii. disability (total and partial) and functional status; iii. treatment plan elements; iv. functional improvement – positive patient progress. Medical Director’s Office Bulletin MDO-2012 #1. NYSCA created tools to assist. Review of common oversights and missteps in documenting care for an injured worker. Exacerbation examples

License Renewal: Continuing education credit (CE) is provided by New York Chiropractic College (NYCC). CE requested only in states listed. If CE is needed a state that is not listed, please contact the NYSCA administrative office.

While applications relating to credit hours for license renewal in selected states have been executed for these programs, it remains attendees' responsibility to contact the state board(s) from whom they seek continuing education credits for purposes of ensuring said board(s) approve both venue and content as they relate to any event.
