NYSCA 2021 Board of Directors Election Results
The votes have been tallied and election results are below. The results below represent terms from June 1, 2021 until May 31, 2023. We thank all who were willing to run for an elected position and look forward to the leadership of our Officers and Board members.
The following individuals have been elected to serve as our Executive Officers:
- Anthony Palumbo DC, President - Region 1
- Chris Piering DC, Vice President - Region 4
- Jason Brown DC, Past President - Region 3
- Lloyd Kupferman DC, Rec. Secretary - Region 2
- Rae Smith DC, Comm. Secretary – Region 4
- Gerald Stevens DC, Treasurer - Region 4
The following individuals have been re-elected to serve on our Board of Directors:
- Joseph Campisi DC — Region 1
- Angelo Ippolito DC — Region 1
- Mariangela Penna DC — Region 1
- Robert DeSantis DC — Region 3
- Robert Martin DC — Region 3
- Michael O'Leary DC — Region 3
These will be joining our current Board of Directors incumbents:
- Joseph Merckling DC – Region 2
- Bruce Silber DC – Region 2
- Robin Stein DC – Region 2
- William Lauretti DC – Region 4
- John Gerlach DC – Region 4

The position of ACA Affiliate to the Board of Directors is pending appointment by the American Chiropractic Association. Additionally, a special election will be held in June 2021 to fill a vacant seat on the Board of Directors in Region 4 and will complete the term through May 31, 2022. NYSCA Region 4 is comprised of Districts 12, 15, 16, & 17.
