As you may recall, the NYS WCB proposed a much needed update to the fee schedule. On behalf of the profession the NYSCA and Council responded with formal public comments on the proposed WC fee schedule.
The changes were originally set to begin on October 1, 2018. Since the public comment period ended on August 6th there has been no response from the WCB.
It is our recommendation not to update your office fees for treatment for injured workers at this time. We will continue monitoring the situation and will update you as soon as there is more news to share.
