New NYS Workers' Comp Fee Schedule Effective January 1, 2020

The New York State Chiropractic Association (NYSCA) and New York Chiropractic Council have been actively working with the New York State Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) to achieve parity in the system for services provided by Doctors of Chiropractic in New York State.

As of January 1, 2020, new conversion rates go into effect granting a significant fee increase for our services. This represents the second reimbursement increase in less than a year as a result of the combined effort.

The conversion rates, regions and formula for determining the rate of reimbursement for services are available on the WCB website. Physical Medicine RVUs are unchanged from the April 2019 fee schedule, including CMT.

Since this is copyrighted material, we are limited to the publicly available information from the WCB website that we can share. According to the WCB, 'The Official New York Workers' Compensation Medical Fee Schedule may be purchased from OptumInsight 360 by writing to PO Box 88050, Chicago, IL 60680-9920, by calling (800) 464-3649 option 1 or online at www.optum360coding.com, keyword "New York".
