CCE Reaffirms Accreditation for NYCC’s Chiropractic Program

Seneca Falls: New York Chiropractic College is pleased to announce that the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE), acted on July 16, 2016, “To reaffirm the accreditation of the NYCC doctor of chiropractic degree program.” Reaffirmation marks the beginning of the next eight-year accreditation cycle for the program and the council extended its congratulations on NYCC’s achievement. “

Following so closely after the recent reaffirmation of our regional accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, this is particularly gratifying,” said Dr. Frank J. Nicchi, president of NYCC. He expressed his heartfelt thanks to faculty and staff for their outstanding dedication and commitment to the College’s mission.

According to the Council on Higher Education Accreditation, “Accreditation in the United States is a means to assure and improve higher education quality, assisting institutions and programs using a set of standards developed by peers. An institution or program that has successfully completed an accreditation review has in place the needed instructional, student support, and other services to assist students to achieve their educational goals. Accreditation has helped to provide the conditions necessary for the United States to develop diverse, flexible, robust and often admired higher education.”
