ACA's NCHM 2015 Theme Announced: Pain Free Nation!

NCHM 2015:  #PainFreeNation

Hosted by the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), National Chiropractic Health Month (NCHM) is a national public awareness and education campaign held each October. NCHM strives to teach health care consumers about the benefits of chiropractic services and to promote the expertise of doctors of chiropractic (DCs) in helping their patients reach optimal levels of health and wellness.

In honor of NCHM 2015, ACA will bring attention to the public health crisis caused by pain (and in particular the overuse of prescription painkillers) with this year’s theme of #PainFreeNation

The campaign is designed to help members of the profession take greater advantage of the use of personal social media accounts to spread the word about chiropractic and will highlight the prescription painkiller crisis in America, the toll it takes on the population and chiropractic’s ability to be a part of the solution with its conservative approach to health care. The campaign will also provide simple ways for people to enhance strength and avoid pain and injury in everyday life.

ACA’s campaign toolkit will help doctors of chiropractic highlight the visibility of chiropractic services as well as their own clinics throughout the month of October.

NCHM Tweet Chat:

ACA will host a public Twitter chat in the fall using the hashtag #PainFreeNation to heighten awareness of the drug-free approach that chiropractic offers to those suffering from pain. The date and time of the chat will be announced on this page and through ACA's Twitter and Facebook channels.
